President's Corner
From the President:
WE are very excited this year as it promises to be a year of opportunities for us to escalate our work with the poor. Couples For Christ Global Foundation, who from 2001 up to 2009 has supported Gawad Kalinga Foundation in its base purpose of building homes for the poor and educational assistance for children has spinned off a subsidiary, CFC Ancop Tekton Foundation to continue and focus its massive evangelization work for the poor.
And as a second agency partner of Ancop Canada, the auspicious start of its initial offerings for sponsorship is already over 1,157 housing units, mostly in Batangas, to the Ancop Canada donor partners and over 1,000 additional children from various completed villages for educational assistance.
Its CFC caretaker teams continue to support and provide value formation to beneficiaries of the Ancop Shelter Homes.
Our 2010 Donation Programs will need the generous and massive support of all our current donor partners and new ones too, who has the heart for the poor and downtrodden. Our 2010 programs are:
A) Child Sponsorship Programs - You can be a child sponsor and/or help us solicit donation funds as a individual volunteer solicitor for thousands of children for their much needed education, family and health assistance, for just a month ($32.00) up to a year's funding need ($384.00). You can also bring in your group to establish a webpage with us to email solicit with your own solicitation pages for a number of children as recipients of your generous work;
B) ANCOP Shelter Homes for the Poor Program - Join us as an individual donor and contribute to an existing shelter project as low as $50 up to a home unit cost of $2,500 or bring your group to raise and solicit funds for a chosen shelter project subnamed after your group in appreciation of your generosity or chose a shelter project and create your own Participant Solicitor Page attached to its contribution page (soft credits to your solicitations will be reported in your page).
